DAVID CONTRERAS

David's passion for real estate began during kindergarten; as an upcoming home designer selling his drawings to fellow classmates. During high school, the dilemma became: pursue a career in Architectural Design, or, TV Broadcasting & Journalism - he chose the latter. After living in Louisiana for a few years (You can ask him about living through Hurricane Katrina), he joined the mortgage lending industry as a full-time loan officer. After closing just a handful of loans and refinances before the 2008 market crash, he joined KSL TV in Salt Lake City, and simultaneously began working towards an undergraduate degree at the University of Utah. The Real Estate industry still had a pull on him for the last 10+ years, and now as a member of the Pearson & Associates team, he will enjoy helping individuals and families achieve the American dream. Outside of real estate, you can find him spending time with his 3 kids; playing soccer; reading; writing; creating content for social media; working out at the Daybreak VASA...6 feet apart though.
